Use Vedic Sky as an instrument, not an authority

1. What the service is

Vedic Sky is an educational and reflective sky instrument. It presents astronomical positions, Vedic calendar and astrology-derived calculations, visualisations and interpretive material.

2. Interpretation is not a guarantee

Traditional associations, personal readings, tone language and other interpretive material are presented as context for reflection. They do not establish that a particular event will happen, that a person will behave in a particular way, or that one choice is objectively right.

3. Not professional or safety-critical advice

Do not use Vedic Sky as medical, mental-health, legal, financial or other professional advice. Real Sky and related displays are not intended for safety-critical navigation, surveying, aviation, maritime operations, emergency response or any use where small positional or timing errors could cause harm.

4. Accuracy and calculation limits

Reasonable care is taken with calculations and testing, but results can differ from other ephemerides, Panchanga traditions or astrology software because of ayanamsha choice, implementation details, rounding, time-zone data, elevation, birth-time accuracy and boundary conventions. 5. Your information

You are responsible for the information you enter. Birth and location information may be personal data. The current product stores its core saved profile locally in your browser, while place and time-zone lookups can send limited search or coordinate data to third-party providers. 6. Third-party services

Some features depend on third-party hosting, geocoding, reverse-geocoding and time-zone services. Their availability, accuracy and data handling are outside Vedic Sky's direct control and may change.

7. Availability and changes

Vedic Sky is currently a beta product. Features, calculation methods and wording may change as the product is tested and improved. Material changes that affect privacy or methodology will be reflected in the relevant public trust pages.

8. Intellectual property and fair use

The Vedic Sky interface, original written material, visual design and application code are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Third-party libraries, astronomical methods, public data and traditional concepts remain subject to their own licences, rights and attribution requirements.

9. Liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, Vedic Sky is not intended to bear responsibility for decisions made solely on the basis of interpretive content, third-party service failures, or uses outside the purpose described above.

10. Governing framework

These terms are intended to operate under the laws of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you where you live.
